This course focuses on how to generate and organize ideas, particularly in the business field and Canadian related themes. Students will become familiar with the different aspects of the business communication field: the job market, trends, oral presentation skills, negotiating skills, different marketing strategies, and a general overview on business documentation.

At the beginner level students learn skills for survival communication and at the higher levels students learn skills in order to be able to discuss different ideas, opinions and get involved in debates. Students need to make oral presentations and present information in a stimulating way. By interacting with peers, students are able to determine their strengths and weaknesses as well as that of other speakers.
